Mark Hepner, SRA
Principal, Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute

Mark is a native Oregonian and Portland resident for nearly 40 years. He graduated from the University of Oregon in Business Administration with major fields of study in Real Estate and Urban Economics, and continues his education with professional classes and seminars. Mark has over 40 years of appraisal experience and holds the prestigious SRA Designation from the Appraisal Institute. He has also completed the Appraisal Institute’s Professional Development Program for Litigation. He has been with the firm since 1983 and co-owner/manager of Portland Residential Appraisals since 1989. Specialties include complex and high end residential properties, litigation work, and Central Coast properties. Mark is licensed as a Certified Residential Appraiser in Oregon and Washington and is FHA approved.

Greg Lamunyan, SRA, AI-RRS, AGA
Principal, Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute

Greg Lamunyan has been an Oregonian since 1991. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he went back to school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Portland State University. He is a state Certified Residential Appraiser, committed to continuing education. This is evidenced by his Designated Membership of the Appraisal Institute (SRA), (AI-RRS), his accreditation as an Accredited Green Appraiser (AGA), and his Worldwide ERC Appraisal Training. He provides a broad range of fee-based valuation services to private parties, brokerages, accountants, relocation companies and lenders. He specializes in complex and high end residential properties, relocation appraisals, litigation work as an expert witness, green homes, and small income properties. When not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.

John Van Hoomissen
Certified Residential Appraiser

John is an Oregon Certified Residential Appraiser and a lifelong Oregon native. He graduated from the Oregon State University School of Business with a minor in Construction Engineering. After his time at Oregon State, John worked in the insurance and mortgage industries. With this experience, he started his own small company providing field underwriting services to many of the largest home insurers in the state. After obtaining his Certified Residential License in 2018, he is currently pursing Designated Membership with the Appraisal Institute. When not working, you can find John remodeling his own home in the Woodstock neighborhood, or outdoors camping and hiking with his dogs.

Taylor Murphy
Certified Residential Appraiser

Taylor Murphy is an Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser. He graduated from Sul Ross State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, with a minor in Criminal Justice. He began his appraisal career in Texas before moving to Oregon. When not working he enjoys playing basketball, traveling, cooking and spending quality time with family.

Esther Park
Appraiser Assistant

Esther is a California transplant and has been in Oregon since 2017. After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Sociology, she worked at an appraisal management company as a quality control administrator and appraisal coordinator. Her experience conducting residential quality control assignments gives her a unique perspective and experience which she brings to her client relationships and work product. She decided to pursue a career as a real estate appraiser and joined Portland Residential Appraisals in March of 2018. She is currently training under Mark Hepner, SRA. When not working, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her dog.

Karris Huseman
Administrative Support Manager

Karris started her career in the nursing field spending 7 years as a CNA. She has extensive background experience as an office professional with training from Mt Hood Community College and joined Portland Residential Appraisals in 2014 as an administrative assistant. She is a lifelong Oregonian who likes to frequent the beach, enjoys camping and spending quality time with friends and family.

MacKenzie Robertson, SRA 
Certified Residential Appraiser and Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute

Born in Portland, Oregon in 1992, Kenzie has been a lifelong resident of Oregon. She began her career in real estate appraising after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2014. Kenzie joined the firm of Portland Residential Appraisals, Inc. in February 2015 and completed training under Mark Hepner, SRA for 2.5 years. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser and holds the SRA Designation from the Appraisal Institute. She is competent in appraising many types of properties and has worked on several complex assignments, such as rural acreage properties, properties with subdivision potential, and high value estate properties. When not working, she enjoys backpacking, running, volleyball, and reading.

Jacob Baines
Certified Residential Appraiser

Jacob Baines is an Oregon native and a Certified Residential Appraiser. He graduated from University of Oregon in December of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He is currently pursuing an SRA Designated Membership with the Appraisal Institute. When not working, he enjoys traveling, wood working, camping, and anything outdoors.

Lea Ennis
Appraiser Assistant

Lea is an Alabama native and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Political Science. He moved to the Portland area in 1997 and worked in the Mortgage industry before stints in restaurant association management and as a food service broker. He is excited to return to the real estate industry to work towards licensure as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Eventually he plans to pursue SRA Designated Membership with the Appraisal Institute. When not working Lea enjoys cheering on his children’s sports teams, exploring the outdoors with his family and watching Alabama football – Roll Tide!
