Mark Hepner, SRA
Mark is a native Oregonian and Portland resident for nearly 40 years. He graduated from the University of Oregon in Business Administration with major fields of study in Real Estate and Urban Economics, and continues his education with professional classes and seminars. Mark has over 40 years of appraisal experience and holds the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. He has been with the firm since 1983 and co-owner/manager of Portland Residential Appraisals since 1989. Specialties include complex and high end residential properties, litigation work, and Central Coast properties. Mark is licensed as a Certified Residential Appraiser in Oregon and Washington and is FHA approved.
Greg Lamunyan, SRA, AGA
Greg Lamunyan has been an Oregonian since 1991. After serving in the United States Marine Corps from 2004-08, he went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Portland State University. He is a state Certified Residential Appraiser, committed to continuing education. This is evidenced by his Designated Membership of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) and his accreditation as an Accredited Green Appraiser (AGA). He provides a broad range of fee based valuation services to private parties, brokerages, accountants and lenders. When not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.
Certified Residential Appraiser
Rich has over 35 years of appraisal experience, as well as over 10 years in the banking industry in a wholesale, loan origination, and management capacity. Rich has an Associate’s Degree in Architecture as well as certificates in Business Management, Real Estate, Mortgage lending, Management, Marketing and ongoing Appraisal classes and seminars. He is a past Vice President of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association and was named the Outstanding Young Mortgage Banker in 1988. Rich's impressive resume does not overshadow his accomplishments of being a very good appraiser, who serves his clients well, providing quality appraisal reports in a timely manner. He is FHA certified and has the knowledge and experience to appraise most all property types. Rich enjoys his family, friends, and many outdoor activities, with a special passion for golf.
Certified Residential Appraiser
Jordan is an Oregon Certified Residential Appraiser with Portland Residential Appraisals, Inc. He has been a residential real estate appraiser in the state of Oregon since 2015. Prior to joining Portland Residential Appraisals, Inc., he spent 9 years in the residential and commercial construction industry, including 5 years as a licensed general residential contractor and specialty commercial contractor in the State of Oregon. He is a graduate of Lane Community College and Pacific University; where he played baseball, and earned a BA in Business Administration. He currently resides in Tigard with his wife and three daughters.
John Van Hoomissen
Registered Appraiser Assistant
John is a lifelong Oregon native, and a graduate from the Oregon State University School of Business with a minor in Construction Engineering. After his time at Oregon State, John worked in the insurance and mortgage industries. With this experience, he started his own small company providing field underwriting services to many of the largest home insurers in the state. John currently trains under Mark Hepner, SRA, with an emphasis on new construction and home rehab projects. John will be pursing Designated Membership with the Appraisal Institute upon obtaining his Certified Residential Appraiser license in 2018. When not working, you can find John remodeling his own home in the Woodstock neighborhood, or outdoors camping and hiking with his dogs.
Certified General Appraiser
Rosemary is a native Oregonian, and has lived in the Portland area since the late 70’s. She graduated PSU with a BS in Engineering, and University of Portland with a MBA. She has 18 years of engineering experience. This analytical work has provided a solid background for complex appraisals. She has over 8 years of experience as a Certified General Appraiser. Commercial appraisal experience includes subdivisions, developable land, right-of way easements, and other real property rights. She enjoys a wide variety of assignment types, and is now focused on residential properties. She continues her education with professional courses and seminars on a variety of appraisal problems. When not appraising, Rosemary enjoys a variety of creative experiences; ceramic sculpture, dance, cooking/gardening and foreign travel.
Certified Residential Appraiser and Candidate for Designation, Appraisal Institute
Born in Portland, Oregon in 1992, Kenzie has been a lifelong resident of Oregon. She began her career in real estate appraising after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2014, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. Kenzie joined the firm of Portland Residential Appraisals, Inc. in February 2015 and completed training under Mark Hepner, SRA for 2.5 years. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser and is currently pursuing her SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute. She is competent in appraising many types of properties and has worked on complex assignments during training, such as rural acreage properties, properties with subdivision potential, and high value estate properties. When not working, she enjoys backpacking, running, volleyball, and reading.
Registered Appraiser Assistant
Jacob Baines is an Oregon native and is just starting his career in the appraisal profession. He graduated from University of Oregon in December of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He is currently working towards becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser. Upon obtaining his certification, Jacob plans to pursue an SRA Designated Membership with the Appraisal Institute. When not working, he enjoys traveling, wood working, camping, and anything outdoors.
Karris started her career in the nursing field spending 7 years as a CNA. She has extensive background experience as an office professional with training from Mt Hood Community College and joined Portland Residential Appraisals in 2014 as an administrative assistant. She is a lifelong Oregonian who likes to frequent the beach, enjoys camping and spending quality time with friends and family.
